About Me

I discovered a love of drums from the young age of seven, a passion that was nurtured by many private music tutors and then formally through completing a Bachelor of Music (Jazz Performance) at the Jazz Music Institute in 2016. This education involved intensive study under the tutelage of the legendary drummer, educator, band leader and producer Dave Sanders. I now come with over twenty years of drumming experience and have been working exclusively as a professional drum coach at Sono School Of Music in Brisbane since 2016 and Rivermount College since 2022. I have been actively gigging around SE QLD in many different genres for over ten years and bring this real life experience into the lessons with my students.

In the spirit of the classics, FORMER ANGELS are an all-out rock ‘n’ roll band. Formed from the ashes of countless local projects, their first eighteen months of existence has already seen them traverse the east coast of Australia twice, with a full trailer of Marshall stacks in tow.  Crunchy riffs, blazing solos, decadent four part vocal chants and rhythmic swagger.
